Creep FeederCreep Feeder
A 20-bushel calf creep feeder for small herds.
When it comes to growing underweight calves and maximizing weaning weights, creep feeding has been a go-to method among cattle farmers for years. To meet the needs of farmers with smaller herds, we designed our 20-bushel calf creep feeder. With space for about 5 calves at a time, it makes a great feed supplementation tool for smaller operations.
Our calf creep feeder is designed to be moved from pasture to pasture around the farm, wherever you need to feed. Durable skid feet on the bottom and a D-ring on the end make it easy to tow with a tractor, gator, or 4-wheeler. It also features fork pockets on the bottom for quick moving with a loader.
The feeding panels on our calf creep feeder are designed to clip together with pins for quick set up. They can be fastened to the sides of the creep feeder during transport and quickly reassembled at the new feeding location. The front panel has an adjustable bar for determining calf size from 3 months and up. Creep feed is loaded into the bin from the top and an adjustable feed control determines how quickly feed is dispensed. (You can use this creep feeding calculator to estimate feed usage; for larger calves, we also offer a bunk-style calf feeder.)
Standard Features
At Farmco, every creep feeder we manufacture is welded from heavy-gauge steel, with carefully placed reinforcements added for extra strength. Each creep feeder is painted before leaving the shop, with a two-part polyurethane paint. We use an electrostatic application method to ensure even coverage of all paint coatings. All of our calf creep feeders are expected to hold up under tough conditions.
