24’ to 28’-long heavy-duty round bale trailers for large round or square bales.
Every farmer knows one thing about hay: the faster you can get it off the field, the better. When you’re hauling hay, the last thing you need is an equipment breakdown to hold up the process. That’s why we designed the heavy-duty bale carrier.
The idea is simple: with a heavy-duty round bale carrier, we can haul more bales per load, with less risk of equipment failure. Thanks to a 36,000 lb. capacity, Farmco’s heavy-duty bale carrier can handle up to 27 large square bales (3’x3’x8’) at a time. Even with higher moisture bales, large loads are not an issue. (For a lighter weight option, check out our regular round bale wagons.)
The main beams on our heavy-duty round bale trailers are up to 4″x8″ and made with heavy-duty steel. 3” square cross members are solid-welded to the frame (on 28′ models) with a spacing designed to accommodate all large bale types. A 4” rub rail on each side allows tie-down for safe transportation. The heavy-duty bale carrier comes standard mounted on one of our heavy-duty running gears. Note, however, that our bale carriers are available with or without the running gear.

Standard Features
Every round bale carrier from Farmco is welded from reinforced heavy-gauge steel. Once they’re fabricated, each round bale trailer is coated with a two-part polyurethane paint. Paint is applied electrostatically to ensure even coverage over the entire bale trailer.
In addition, Farmco’s round bale trailers come standard with:
4″x8″ main beams for increased load bearing capabilities. (Main beam is 3″x8″ on 24′ models.)
3” square cross members to support heavy loads. (Adjustable cross members shown.)
4” rub rail designed for easy load tie-down (on 28′ models).
Tie-down points on cross members to fasten loads (on 24′ models).
An extendable tongue for easy hookup and variable towing lengths.
Cold-rolled axle spindles and greaseable hubs on all wheels.
A spring-assisted tongue for easy lifting.
An automotive-style steering mechanism.
