Great cattle farmers know that changing seasons and weather conditions call for changing feeding strategies. Sometimes that strategy is supplementing feed for pastured cattle. The frustrating part is managing pastures at different locations and handling feed transport from the barn to the pasture. That’s where a hay feed wagon like the 66 series comes in.
With a hay feed wagon, feeding in different pastures simply becomes a matter of hooking up the feeder and heading out. Refill the feeder wagon on-site or pull it back to the barn to load up fresh hay or chopped feed. Either way, you can develop the process to be as efficient as possible for your operation.
Speaking of efficiency, that’s the approach our hay feed wagons take toward feed usage as well. A hay feed wagon cuts feed waste dramatically compared to feeding on the ground. The less feed your cattle waste while meeting their nutritional requirements, the better your bottom line looks.

Standard Features
At Farmco, every hay feed wagon we build is manufactured from 12 gauge metal with well-placed reinforcements, all fastened together with top-notch welds. Once it’s built, each hay feed wagon is painted with a two-part polyurethane paint, applied electrostatically for even coverage. The goal is a finished product that will handle years of tough farming conditions.
The 66 series hay feed wagon also comes standard with:
Slanted trough sides and an inverted V divider to keep leftover feed scraps away from the wagon sides, simplifying clean out.
A 180-degree turning front dolly for easy maneuverability.
An extendable tongue, which folds up and hooks out of the way during feeding.
4 wheels with 15×6 or 15×8 rims (with valve stem guards) to make transportation around the farm as simple as possible (6 wheels on 32′ models).
Options
The 66 series hay feed wagon is also available with several additional options, including:
Skid feet instead of wheels. If you plan to move your feeder, we don’t recommend skid feet on models 20’ and longer.
6 wheels on models 32’ long. The rear axles are laid out in a tandem design.
A hay feed wagon configured with two wheels and a tongue to create a trailer design.
